On January 15, 1928 the monthly magazine Domus was released with the subtitle: "Architecture and decor of modern living in a city and country."
Founded and directed by the Milanese architect Gio Ponti, the magazine is picked up the following year by the Editor Gianni Mazzocchi, which gives Domus editorial life.
During the seventy years of its history, the subtitle of the magazine are slightly changed, depending on the needs and interests of time, but the vocation of Domus has always been to provide a vantage point to recognize the style of an era.
